Its Black Friday on Friday the 13th of January, so I decided thats as good a day as any to have a SALE!

All left over horror stock from the Halloween orders will be slashed to 25% off, so if you have a dress up planned (maybe Freaky Friday at Burlesque Bar!) that would be the perfect time to get your last minute dress up items.

Met with the lovely Mandy Campbell from Relic Imagery today to choose photos from our store photoshoot in January. It was so hard to choose, they were all so good!
When ready they will become part of the gallery here on the website to demonstrate the different hire outfits available from Sideshow Annie Costume Parlour.

Sideshow Annie will be closing early this Thurs 3rd March. We will be closing at 5.30 pm instead of 7pm. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Our normal trading hours on Friday 10am till 7pm and Sat 10am till 4pm.

The following Saturday 12th March, the store will be closed all day due to family commitments. Please visit us to pickup your costume on Friday and the normal return day (Tuesday) still applies with no extra cost to you.

My little book of future booked costumes is starting to fill up fast!
If you would like a costume for a future date, don't leave it to the last minute as it limits your choices. Come in early before the weekend of your party arrives and you get to have the pick of the whole store!

Oh my gosh! What a busy weekend we are having!

Last night we had Felicity's hens party package. Felicity and her friends all looked gorgeous in their costumes and got some great photos. We did an intermediate workshop upon request which included fan dancing.

Tonight we have not one but two more hens parties booked in!
One for Lina and one for Belinda. Both have booked in the burlesque package through the wonderful ladies at Bellacize. They will be taken through basic burlesque moves whilst sipping on champagne and then we will take them through some pin-up poses at the end so they can take some photos for some great memories of the night!

This week has been full of sewing and creating here at Sideshow Annie Costume Parlour!

We have made some beautiful 'Cigarette Girl' costumes for Helen Mclean and 'A Vintage Appeal- Raising money for flood victims'
7pm at the Order of Melbourne in Swanston Street, Melbourne.
$10 gets you entry and 2 raffle tickets.
Two models will be wearing the red and gold costumes whilst collecting donations for the flood appeal in their 'cigarette trays'. Keep an eye out!

Also, we modified a costume for our sponsored burlesque performer, Poppy Cherry, to wear on Sunday as a school girl. She needed a zipper put in the front of the top for her performance.

You have the chance to win a burlesque prize pack from Sideshow Annie Costume Parlour if you attend Shimmy Shake! on Friday night at Red Bennies on Chapel St. The pack includes, opera gloves, eyelashes, fishnet stockings and a hand size fan! ohh la la!
